A. Jobs At Beautiful House

1. Sound & Lighting Techs

B. Volunteer Opportunities at Beautiful House

Organizing and planning our special events takes an enormous amount of time, effort, and resources including beautiful people like yourself.  Beautiful House Gallery Lounge welcomes anyone to volunteer themselves, their equipment and any furniture or decor donations.  Our most urgently needed positions include:

1. Promoters For Flyer/Poster Distribution

We're looking for promoters for flyer and poster distribution around Vancouver and outlying areas to help you bring more of the same beautiful vibe! Help us spread the word - tell yer friends to email info@gallerylounge.com. Get in free and even earn drink tickets by postering your neighbourhood! Email info@gallerylounge.com for details. Anyone with access to a photocopier and/or fax machine would also be of great help.

2. Artist Wranglers

If you are involved in any art organization or know of any emerging talent, please download and post our Call For Artists (Adobe PDF) on your organization or school bulletin boards or for mention in your organization's newsletters or publications. Additionally, if you belong to our Email List, feel free to forward our email promos to your friends, colleagues, members of your like-minded organization, and any art and music lovers you know.

If you are a local lounge lizard or cool kitten and frequent events similar to ours like The Sugar Refinery, The Main, The Living Closet, Starry Dynamo Cafe, Jupiter Cafe, The Urban Well, The Blue Lizard Cocktail Club, The Church of Pointless Hysteria, The Alibi Room, or any other related happenings, you could totally help us out by being on the lookout for potential artists and performings and steering them in our direction. Thanks in advance for the leads!

3. Event Setup/Strike Volunteers (Molly Maid for the Underground)

Setup & Strike Volunteers for the evening before each event, day of each event and afternoon following each event.  Specifically, we need people to help with transporting the beautiful furnishings and decor (beds, couches, tables, chairs, etc.) that our guests can feast their eyes upon and luxuriate themselves on.  It would be great to find someone with a trailer, truck, or hatchback - folding chairs would also be great - and if you have neither but can help loading and unloading, please let us know.
