it's been a long time since you've heard from us and many of you have been asking us what's next?

we're happy to announce that a new weekly beautiful house sunday evening series is starting this sunday in downtown vancouver at the media club. february 1st features deep house with dj mischa + guests and the alt-folk of ask nora.

the weekly format for bh sundays will be a combination of djs, live music, art, and dialogue. there's even great eats for the those hungering for more than music! come early - the kitchen closes at 10pm!

we're all about building community in a warm and positive atmosphere, hope to see you there! please help us spread the word - email us back and we'll send you a flyer to post!

we'll also be having a special weekend event sometime soon and "no", we haven't abandoned the marpole curling club so stay tuned for another event in that great kitschy space!

DJ Mischa brings his deep sexy, jazzy, funky house to The Media Club every Sunday night this February. DJ Mischa has spun at parties, raves and Vancouver's hottest dance clubs including Lotus Sound Lounge, MILK and Honey.

As writer, and sole instrumentalist of Ask Nora, Jeff Mettlewsky's vision is to maintain a steady course of writing music based around musicianship and experimentalism. His songs are eclectic, working in many styles like folk, psychedelic rock, blues, and even some funk. When not solo, Jeff is the frontman for the band Hejira.
