Live
Musical Stylings by...
Naomi
Sider - "Dark,
dark, dark, but pretty too" says Discorder. "College
radio should play the death out of this disc because
it's killingly good. Sad, lo-fi songs of the sort
that make morose alt-rock fans verge on displaying
human emotions." - The Province. Produced by
David Bazan of Pedro
The Lion with a recent gig at TOM Fest, we're
glad to debut Naomi at Curl III this Saturday night
where she will perform tracks off her CD "Appearing
As Herself". You can also catch her earlier in
the day at Kerrisdale's PET Fest and later this month
at "Philosopher's Cafe" at Starry Dynamo
on Main.

Soressa
Gardner - Soressa
has performed at Curl I and II and will return with
special performers for Curl III. Her song writing
appeals to lyric-hungry listeners with an ear for
quirky story-telling. Her distinct style of urban
folk explores inner workings and secret selves. We're
glad she's back after her first amazing Beautiful
House performances at Curl I & II. Curl III features
Soressa with Shanto
Bhattacharya in a special intimate set with some
new material.

Stephanie
Jean - This
22 year old pop recording artist has spent the past
two years recording tracks off her 'advance ep' and
forthcoming CD. Stephanie wants to sings songs that
are "positive and leave people with feelings
of hope". With airplay already on Z95.3, Stephanie
loves how music can "cross all barriers and touch
people in so many ways - to be able to do that myself
is something very exciting." She's glad to be
back at Curl III with some new material.

TJ
- TJ's
message can be summed up in the lyrics to one of her
new songs, "The world pushes and pulls. Life
has its highs and lows. It can be beautiful. Let it
happen". She believes in being honest even if
it hurts, and that the most rewards and growth in
life come from the truth. It has been said that her
music is refreshing, soothing and gentle to the ear
and that her voice is soft, but her message strong.
While no stranger to the stage, TJ makes here debut
performance at Beautiful House at 10pm sharp this
Saturday.
