Our
Review:
Curl
II was packed! A great night with so much talent in
the house - Stephanie Jean opened the evening with
her growing collection of ballads and infectuous grooves
followed by a mezmerizing set by Craig Norton on electric
guitar as David Lane took to the second stage for
life drawing around 11pm. Malcolm Johnson's performance
monologue added to the already heightened energy followed
by NeNah Reece's edgy atmospheric pop. Then a short
open mike session drew the largest applause when visiting
Atlantan, Leslie Seamands, performed opera. Soressa
Gardner then took to the stage with a new twist to
her set and the evening ended with a late crowd showing
up for Sonicjoy's ethereal electronica. All were "caught
in the curl" that night and thanks to all we
had an amazing event!

Soressa
Gardner - Soressa's song writing appeals to
lyric-hungry listeners with an ear for quirky story-telling.
Her distinct style of urban folk explores inner workings
and secret selves. We're glad she's back, with new
material to boot, after her first Beautiful House
performance at our first Curl event in April.
