Friday, March 31st, 2000, Beautiful House Gallery
Lounge presented its 5th event, wildCARD, a big Vegas
lounge night at 1012 SW Marine Drive at Oak Street
(the former home of Aunt
Leah's Gallery Cafe).
Photo Exhibit: Kathryn Mussallem, "the
almighty queen" and graduate of Emily Carr.
Live
Music: an evening of jazz, art and lounge featuring
live swoon and groove tunes by Vancouver recording
artists, Red
Velvet Swing.
Red Velvet
Swing are Janet Thornton (left front), Cliff Howard
right front), Shaun Warder, Wayne Turone and guest
musician. They perform original lounge/pop music regularly
in Vancouver from their debut CD release, Paramours.
Special
Guest Singers: Rinat de Picciotto and Michelle
Shepherd.
Michelle
Shepherd and Rinat de Picciotto perform live a capella
against a backdrop of photographic artworks by Kathryn
Mussallem, the Almighty Queen.

Diverse
As
with all of our events at beautifulHOUSE, we give
you more of the same great vibe, live music, art and
amazing selection of martinis. The theme this time
around is a deck of cards - the poker flavour of Vegas
with a cast adorned with pin-striped suits. Door prizes
for lucky wildCARD holders!
Returning
to the stage were Michelle Shepherd and Rinat De Picciotto
with acapella skat performances. Michelle and Rinat
have been strong supporters of beautifulHOUSE gallery
lounge since our first event back in September 1999.
Wild Card was our largest event to date with many
crowd pleasing performances throughout the evening.
