presented our 1st annual Christmas & Holiday Special
Event, "Angel".
One year later (to the day), we present our 2nd annual
Christmas & Holiday Special Event,
Joy, Saturday, November 24, 2001.

Our
Review :
Angel
was truly a magical evening and our first event at
Starry
Dynamo Cafe (4342 Main Street).
A packed house with plenty of good vibes to go around,
the evening unfolded with a selection of folk songs
as the room filled... Tracey
Martin opened the show with her recitation
of ee Cummings followed by the Joellel
Lush performing jazz standards.
Nenah
Reece and her band took to the stage around
11pm and rocked the house until midnight when Erin
Leigh took the stage for spoken word followed
by a number of impromptu acapella performances by
Satya Klassen and others including Craig
Norton and Lisa
O'Neill.
NeNah
Reece performs at Angel.
We ended the evening with a selection of Angel-themed
80's music including The Pretenders, U2, Eurthymics,
Madonna, and more...
Truly
an angelic evening of music, spoken word, art, cocktails
and many divine things.
