The Pale is a melody driven pop/rock
band from Bellingham, Washington. The Pale is:
Cameron Nicklaus
Nate Beede
Gabe Archer
Jared Archer
Greg Swinehart
Together since 1997, "Another
Innovative Idea For The People On The Go" is
their long awaited follow up to 1998's "First
Attempt At World Domination." The new album shows
the band's maturity toward a new pop prowess, something
that's rarely cultivated in such a listenable and
likable way these days. The band has been playing
regularly in the Northwest, opening for bands like
Pedro The
Lion, PAX 217, Five
O'Clock People, and Aaron
Sprinkle. They will continue to support "Another
Innovative Idea..." by touring consistantly.
The Pale's taking a bit of a break
from their work on new material to help some other
bands record. Gabe is in Seattle playing on Late Tuesday's
upcoming album, produced by Aaron
Sprinkle, and Greg is down in Portland playing
drums for Drew Grow of Five
O'Clock People. Drew has new solo stuff that is
said to be a mix between the Beatles' Revolver and
the Sesame Street theme, so Greg should fit in pretty
well. There was a nice article about The Pale in WWU's
most recent Western Front.
