Stephanie Jean

Certain sounds reach deep into your soul and forever leave an indelible impression. Such is true with the voice of Stephanie Jean.

Her songs resonate with emotion and lift the spirits of all who listen. Since early childhood, Stephanie's passion has been to sing and now at age 22, her career is beginning to take flight.

Citing Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Faith Hill, and Martina McBride as her musical influences, Stephanie's vocals achieve a similar electricity and impact.

Vancouver can be proud of Stephanie's powerful voice, for it will certainly catapult her to the forefront of the Canadian contemporary music scene.

Stephanie Jean is a Vancouver pop recording artist who has been recording the tracks off her 'advance ep' and forthcoming CD, "Stephanie Jean' since November 1999.

Stephanie met her current producer, Cam Belter when she was 19 and since then, he has written many of the songs on her ep/forthcoming cd with Stephanie's contribution in selecting the songs and the lyrics. Other contributors include writer Marvin McGee and rapper King B.

Stephanie can remember "'loving' to sing" since she was a three year old girl and began to take it seriously with vocal training at age 15. She loves "how music can cross all barriers and touch people in so many ways". "To be able to do that myself is something very exciting. I want to sing songs that are positive and leave people with feelings of hope." said Stephanie in a recent interview by 316online.com.

Managed and promoted by MAG Promotions, Stephanie has performed on VTV’s morning breakfast show, sung the Canadian national anthem at several Vancouver Grizzlies and other sports games, and made special appearances at local churches and women's retreats.

Stephanie's wardrobe is provided by Liquid Clothing and Tashica Jewelry.

Stephanie Jean made her debut performance at Beautiful House Gallery Lounge on Saturday, July 7, 2001 when we presented Curl II. She opened the evening with her growing collection of ballads and infectuous grooves including Just Can't Breathe, In My Dreams, Upside Down, Anywhere, and Just That Simple. She returned with another brief performance at Curl III on Saturday, August 18, 2001. It'll our pleasure to feature the beautiful voice of this young local pop recording artist again soon.

Stephanie's wardrobe for Curl III was provided by Souldaisy, owned by Beautiful House co-founder and designer, Shainin Hudda available at Liquid Clothing in Vancouver and in a city near you.
