Robyn
McCorquodale
International
songstress, Robyn McCorquodale is a singer/songwriter
of Adult Contemporary music who has been working at
home and abroad performing her music to both domestic
and foreign markets since 1992.
A native of Vancouver, Robyn has performed solo at
the piano to audiences in Asia, Europe, Scandinavia,
South and Central America. Her first gig was performing
for the Sultan of Brunei in Borneo, followed by a
year spent in Hong Kong singing at The New World Harbour
View Hotel. At home she performs regularly at a variety
of venues and has made numerous live appearances on
radio and television, including "Gabereau Live" on
VTV, "Broadcast 1" on CBC and "The Rosemary Keevil
Show" on C-FUN Radio. She also performed with a 5
piece band in concert at The Vancouver East Cultural
Center, which was recorded live and later packaged
with interview segments into an hour television special
titled, "Solitude" which airs regularly on Rogers
Cable 4 Television.
Robyn's music is in the popular genre with spiritually
based lyrics and haunting melodies with Celtic influence
that stems from her Scottish heritage. Both the music
and lyrics along with her passionate expression and
honest delivery creates an atmosphere that evokes
emotion, inspires reflection and sustains hope.
