Patrick
Bartel has been playing music since he was knee high
to a grasshopper. He became professional in the era
of big hair and new wave.
Although
he played the so-called club circuit in a cover band,
he soon realized the spiritual nihilism and artistic
futility of such ventures and soon after pursued the
common split career of clinical psychologist / musician.
During this phase of his life, he played guitar with
Martin Fields and the Academy, Randy Kropp in a jazz
duo, and Soressa Gardner.
His
pet peeves are people who smoke and lack of parking
spaces.
His
favorite food is pizza and his favorite color is black.
