Fred Ardiel

Fred Ardiel is a versatile musician with an extensive performance background that has taken him to many parts of the world performing a variety of styles of music.

Accomplished on electric, acoustic and bass guitar, he has played in many ensembles of all genres of music including rock, country, Celtic, R&B and jazz.

In addition to touring internationally, Fred has been the lead guitarist for many musical performances in Vancouver at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre including "Alice in Wonderland", "Now Noel Coward", "The Christmas Story", "The Patsy Cline Story" and "Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living In Paris". Credited with many CBC Radio performances, he has also backed up name artists at The Cave including Helen Reddy and Mitzi Gaynor.

Fred Ardiel presently works with several local ensembles and individual artists, adding his musical interpretations to both original works and standards, and specifically has been working with singer/songwriter Robyn McCorquodale since 1997.
