Heather
finds inspiration in naturally occurring patterns,
symmetry, and precision. She feels connected through
labor-intensive, meticulous experimentation with the
solid world and seeks to constantly re-define and
re-educate herself by exploring and experiencing all
that she can.
Heather
has self-sustained as a calligrapher, candle maker
and carver, and floral designer. She studied mold
making/casting and oriental calligraphy (brush technique)
at the Ottawa School of Art. Heather is self-taught
in mosaic, stained glass, traditional calligraphy,
wax carving and illustration/design.
