Our
Motivation...
Each
event is getting more polished and we're gaining a
loyal following along with many new guests. We're
getting into a rhythm now and momentum is building...
the responses from the crowd are that they "enjoy
the vibe" we're creating...
We're not a pretentious gallery, we're not a meet
market or anonymous bar. The hours of work involved
wouldn't be worth anything to us if we were. We go
on because it's a beautiful house of people gathering
for a moment in time. And if it weren't a beautiful
house of people, we'd have thrown in the towel months
ago. We go on because we're seeing networking happen
and people having intimate conversations. We go on
because we're crazy. We go on despite the headaches,
bruises, calluses and sheer exhaustion. We go on because
we see relationships and friendships growing and because
we're meeting more and more beautiful people. We go
on because of the stolen moments we experience and
the sense of belonging our events can bring. We go
on because it give us a greater sense of family that
is beyond blood.
Our
Future Is Up To You...
We
are looking back at our growth over the past two years
from a conceptual gathering of friends, friends of
friends, and a few members of the community of Marpole
to our growing supporters packing the house and making
it beautiful!
To
continue bringing you more of the same good concept
and vibe you love about Beautiful House, we're always
in need of word-of-mouth promotion. If you get one
of our emails, please forward it on to your art and
music loving friends.
It's
rare to be able to hang out for an evening with so
many multi-disciplinary artists. Our events bring
you a micro-festival of talent in the atmosphere of
your living room.
